Kevin Bhookun

Kevin is first and foremost an artist. His passion for photography began at a very early age. He was intrigued with his father’s very first camera, and this connection became a passion with age.

Kevin has lived in a number of countries where he acquired a connection with different societies and cultures that enhanced his ability to see things differently.

He studied photography in the state of Michigan. He now lives in Ottawa and works as a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. He runs a small home studio and if you ever get a chance to work with Kevin, you will not only enjoy the resulting images, but you will also realize that he is capable of capturing your natural personality  at its best. His method of directing is delicate and friendly, and so effective that he will never have to ask you for a smile.

When he’s not busy producing the best images for his clients, Kevin can be found creating new images using various types of cameras from 35mm to large formats, toy cameras, pinhole, anything that can capture light onto celluloid or in digital format.

There is a strong connection between his work and fine art.

He is passionate about story telling and is very keen on taking documentary and editorial assignments.

Since becoming a parent 4 years ago, Kevin draws a lot of inspiration from his 2 fantastic little girls and his amazing wife, Anna.
